Dear Friends,
To empower students means to make them stronger and more confident. At Stratford Friends we strive to empower our students with the skills they need to be successful learners not only through academic lessons but through personal, emotional, and social interactions. Every day we are focused on helping our students grow holistically as well as enhancing their academic skills.
Our days are filled with students smiling as they walk down the hallway because they know their teachers believe in them. Laughter on the playground as they engage in games or swing with a friend during recess. Collaboration between classroom teachers and specialist such as Speech and Language and OT as they support each students’ unique needs.
Stratford Friends School is a special place, thanks to our amazing donors that believe in the value of a SFS education. During the 2022-2023 fiscal year, we were fortunate to see a 13% increase in annual giving dollars. We also received a generous gift in kind grant that provided new laptops, furniture, and classroom resources. All Stratford Friends’ donors make an amazing impact on our school community and your gifts help us close the gap between tuition and general operating needs.

As the Co-Clerks of the Stratford Friends School’s Board of Trustees we are honored to serve a community that is committed to educating unique learners throughout the Greater Philadelphia Area. For many of our students, parent and even faculty, Stratford Friends School represents a place where everyone is accepted and celebrated for their strengths and unique abilities and everyone is given hope for a bright future.
Through the generosity of our community of parents, alumni, business partners, foundations, and friends, Stratford Friends continue to grow fiscally each year. Strong academic programs, supports such as behavioral, speech and Occupational Therapy, as well as specially crafted student experiences to complement our students learning experience while reinforcing our Quaker values and beliefs are just some of the ways Stratford Friends School shines.
As the Board reflects on the 2022-2023 fiscal year, we are thankful to those who gave their time, treasure, and expertise to SFS. Your commitment to SFS helps fulfill our mission and implement our Quaker values throughout our entire community.
