School Counselor/Psychologist The School Counselor is responsible for providing support to students, families, and faculty as it relates to learning and the school environment. The School Counselor will embrace diversity and promote a positive school climate through collaboration with teachers, advisors, and administrators to offer a curriculum that support developmentally-appropriate social, emotional, and academic growth. The School Counselor will address issues which impact learning and social/emotional needs while at school and refer outside resources if professional counseling is required.
Lower School Teacher Lower School Teacher is responsible for providing student-center, multisensory instruction in Language Arts, Math and Science. Candidates must possess a current teaching certificate in elementary education, preference will be given to special education or reading specialist certification.
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Education with a current teaching certificate or appropriate licensure.
Preference given to Special Education Teaching Certification and/or Reading Specialist
Experience using technology for instruction.

Stratford Friends School and Teacher Training Center is a K-9 school for children with literacy-based and similar learning differences.
