Ways to Give

There are a variety of ways to contribute financially to Stratford Friends School:

Purchase "There Was A Lady Who..." by SFS student and Archway Publishing Child Author Hannah Yannelli. A portion of the proceeds of every book sold benefits SFS. Thank you, Hannah! Available at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Gifts of cash/checks
are the most direct way to support SFS. Checks should be made payable to Stratford Friends School.

Online Giving or Credit Card gifts are possible by calling the Development Office at 610-355-9580.

Corporate matching gifts can double, or in some cases triple, the size of your contribution. Check with your employer to see if they offer matching gifts to elementary, middle, or special education schools. It is as simple as sending your gift to us and filling out the company’s matching gift form. We are happy to help you complete any required paperwork and provide documentation of our 501(c)3 status.

Gifts of appreciated stock offer tremendous tax incentives. An electronic transfer of appreciated stock should be made to Wells Fargo Advisors:

  • Account Name: Stratford Friends School
  • Account Number: 8133-9148
  • DTC #: 0141

After requesting transfer, please inform the Development Office of your gift by emailing This will enable us to track the gift and to properly acknowledge it.

United Way Gifts can be made via Southeastern PA #4793.

Commemorative Gifts are honorary or memorial gifts that recognize special individuals, or events, anniversaries, or individuals who have passed away.  Commemorative giving can be designated for a particular purpose or support the school overall.

Pledge Gifts allow you to make your gift on a time schedule that best suits your needs. All pledges to the annual fund must be paid in full by June 30.

Gifts-in-Kind are non-cash donations of materials that support and serve the school. Such gifts may include such things as equipment, printed materials, or classroom supplies. For details on the school's gift acceptance policy contact the Development Office.

Volunteering Time and Talent provides many benefits to the Stratford Friends’ community. There are many ways you can help.  Parents can be involved through the Parent Association in fundraising and friend raising activities and special events throughout the year. Past parents, grandparents, current and former faculty and friends support the school generously through volunteer activities. Their dedication reflects the sense of community and the tradition of service to others that is part of Stratford Friends core values.
